Alexander Wang's debut in Balenciaga was basically a game of black and white on round-shouldered coats, high-waisted skinny pants, midi skirts and shoes with deep toe cleavage.
The main theme of the show was the marble print, which was reproduced not only on some of the clothes and shoes but also on the runway.
But, that wasn't the first time designers used building materials print on fabrics. Wood print was used on some pieces of Celine's fall 2011 collection, as well as brick print "decorated" Moschino's and Jean Paul Gaultier's menswear fall 2012 collections.
